At G.A.S. It Up Fitness, our mission is to provide children with a safe, energetic, and inspiring environment during the summer months; one that promotes physical activity, education, and personal growth. Our signature program, Get Active Summers, was designed to ignite a love for movement in our youth by turning exercise into an adventure. Through imaginative games and obstacle courses, where kids sprint like cheetahs, jump like frogs, and hop in potato sacks—they begin to discover the joy of being active.
We aim to help children understand the vital role that physical activity plays in their mental and physical well-being. Beyond play, our program introduces basic anatomy and kinesiology in a fun, age-appropriate way. Kids not only engage in physical challenges but also learn how to identify and spell major muscle groups, improving both their body awareness and academic skills.
Through participation, children build key life skills such as leadership, teamwork, patience, and creativity. They also gain confidence in their physical abilities while making meaningful connections with their peers.
Our commitment doesn’t stop with children. We believe in supporting the educators who help shape the next generation. That’s why we’ve partnered with local schools and head start programs to provide fun, team-building activities for teachers and staff. These sessions offer a chance to decompress, build camaraderie, and reinforce the importance of collaboration and resilience in education.
